Tent, Table, Chairs, Bounce House Rentals for Heroes on the Dunes 2024

For several years, we have collaborated with Operation Heroes to help them organize "Heroes on the Dunes." This annual event occurs every July at Val-Du Lakes in Mears, Michigan.

The Heroes Operations is recognized as an educational 501(c)(3) organization focused on raising awareness about PTSD. The event has expanded to include all veterans and first responders.

Heroes on the Dunes has experienced remarkable growth each year since its inception, becoming the largest event at Silver Lake. Last year marked its peak, featuring 150 heroes, 500 family members, and 207 volunteers.

Statewide Party Rentals is proud to work with this organization.

For this event Statewide Party Rental supplies Tent Rentals, Table and Chair Rentals, Bounce House and lighting Rentals. We also provide some extra labor or help make sure everything runs smoothly with very strict set up and tear down times.

Heroes on the Dunes hosts to free concert with food to veterans and their families with a live concert and fireworks on the Friday of the event. Our 30x75 tent that is normally staked to the ground is connected to Val-Du Lakes wood deck. D-rings were installed along the deck at specific locations for us to tie into with chain shackles. Installing the tent went quickly after figuring out the exact location of all strap tie downs. Tables and chairs are then carried under the tent for seating to host dinner and other events.

Also at Val-Du Lakes we install a 20x30 vendor tent for guests to purchase merchandise etc.

The client also was interesting in activities for kids during the concert and dinner. We supplied two bounce houses: Marvel Obstacle Bounce House and Paw Patrol Bounce House. Each were set up by our crew in a grassy area close by. Everything was staked to prevent movement during use.

Next, we loaded a 40x80 pole tent into a trailer to be taken up to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes for installation on the following evening for the main event.

The following evening we load up an off road truck with installation tools and drive it to the sand dune where we install our 40x80 event tent.

On Saturday, the heroes are transported in 4x4 vehicles to the dunes, where additional activities are organized to honor and appreciate them. A 40x80 tent serves as the central hub for all the events taking place in the sand dunes.

The installation process poses its challenges. Transporting Items to the sand dunes can be difficult and everything is triple checked before departure for both set up and tear down.

Organizing this event required extensive communication and problem-solving to work out the logistics. Every moment spent was well worth it. Numerous phone calls and emails were exchanged to ensure a smooth setup for the event.

This year's annual Heroes on the Dunes event ran smoothly, and everyone was very satisfied. We look forward to supporting them in their mission for many years ahead.
